CAS: 5531-98-6
Smiles: COc1cc(CCN(C)C)c2ccc3ccccc3c2c1OC
Formula: C20H23NO2
Pathway: GPCR/G Protein|||Membrane transporter/Ion channel|||Metabolism|||Microbiology/Virology|||Neuroscience
Target: cAMP|||Calcium Channel|||AChR|||Parasite
Receptor: N/A
Bioactivity: Atherosperminine shows cholinesterase inhibitory activity against acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). Atherosperminine exerts a non-specific relaxant effect on the trachealis, its major mechanism of action appears to be inhibition of cAMP phosphodiesterase.
