Bioactivity: Sophocarpine has anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-nociceptive, and antivirus activities, it can prevent implant loosening through inhibiting osteoclast formation and bone resorption, thus, it may be a novel therapeutic agent to prevent prosthesis loosening and for osteolytic diseases. Sophocarpine could attenuate ConA-induced liver injury, and the protective effect of Sophocarpine was associated with its inhibition effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines, chemokines, and the IFN-γ/STAT1 signaling pathway.
